Voronezh is the capital of the Central Chernozem region of Russia. It is 500 km from Moscow, 260 km from Belgorod, 560 km from Rostov-on-Don, 960 km from the Black Sea.

The Voronezh State Academy of Sports (VGAS) is the only university in the Central Chernozem region that provides professional training for students in the field of physical culture and sports.
VGAS has 3 educational and sports complexes located in the city center. Upon admission to study, international students are provided with a hostel, which is also located in the very center of the city. It is well-maintained and has comfortable living conditions.
VGAS has sports halls where competitions of the highest level are held. These are gyms, games rooms, gyms, a hall of physical education and others. The training of foreign students is carried out by highly qualified teachers with extensive experience in this field.
Students are provided with favorable conditions for adaptation to the cultural, social and climatic features of Russia.Graduates of preparatory courses successfully enter various universities in Russia, such as Voronezh Medical University named after N.N. Burdenko, I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University, Voronezh State University, Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University and others.
The duration of the preparatory courses is one academic year (from September to July).At the end of the preparatory courses, students take exams and pass the final certification. Upon successful completion of the exams, students receive a certificate of completion of preparatory courses indicating the results of the exams.

THE LIST OF DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR ADMISSION TO PREPARATORY COURSES FOR FOREIGN CITIZENS
1. passport (the validity period of the passport must expire at least 1.5 years after the expiration of the visa);
2. the original translation of the passport, notarized;
3. the original document of the documents on the full secondary education of a foreign student with an indication of the subjects studied and the grades obtained on them, legalized at the Embassy of the Russian Federation of the country from which the foreign citizen comes;
4. original translations of documents on the complete secondary education of a foreign student, indicating the subjects studied and the grades obtained on them, notarized;
5. the original migration card with a mark on crossing the border of the Russian Federation;
6. 8 photos 3×4 cm;
7. Consent to the processing of personal data;
8. The questionnaire of the listener;
9. Application for training in the program;
10. The original of the International Health Certificate;
11. Translation of the International Health Certificate, notarized;
12. Medical certificate of vaccinations;
13. A medical document issued on the territory of the Russian Federation, indicating that the Student has no medical contraindications for studying in the Russian Federation, including an analysis for HIV infection, tuberculosis, Covid-19 (a document in Russian and English about the negative result of a COVID-19 test made at home and within 3 days after crossing the border of the Russian Federation)
14. A voluntary medical insurance contract for the entire period of study, including insurance coverage of medical services in the amount provided for by Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 186 dated 06.03.2013 "On Approval of the Rules for Providing medical care to foreign citizens in the territory of the Russian Federation" (concluded at the expense of the listener). The conclusion of a medical insurance contract is one of the grounds for admission of the student to study. Termination of the Student's health insurance contract is the basis for the Student's expulsion from the Institute.
15. A copy of the receipt for tuition and accommodation in the hostel.After accepting the documents, a contract for training under the program is concluded with the student;
REGISTRATION OF AN INVITATION TO ENTER THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION THE FEDERATION
If a visa is required to enter the territory of the Russian Federation, then an invitation from the Voronezh State Academy of Sports is required. The invitation is issued within 40 working days at the Office of the Federal Migration Service of Russia for the Voronezh Region (Administrative Regulations for the provision by the Federal Migration Service of state services for the registration and issuance of invitations to enter the Russian Federation for foreign citizens and stateless persons, approved by Order of the Federal Migration Service of Russia dated November 30, 2012 No. 390 (ed. Orders of the Federal Migration Service of Russia dated 22.10.2014 N 569, dated 08.12.2014N 635)). The following documents are required to issue an invitation:
1. A copy of the passport.
2. A copy of the passport translation.
3. A copy of the education document.

The letter must contain the exact information about your arrival.
It should be borne in mind that you cannot receive an invitation from one university, but go to study at another. This is prohibited by the legislation of the Russian Federation.
